On January 17, 1920, Prohibition in the United States began following the ratification of the 18th Amendment by Congress. While it did not ban the consumption of alcohol, it instead prohibited the sale and distribution of alcohol in the U.S. 

On December 5, 1933 Congress passed the 21st Amendment, resulting in the repeal of Prohibition, which officially took effect on December 15th.

As a proud American distillery, we at Silverback felt that it would be apropos to celebrate our industry's revival and history by hosting an event for our most enthusiastic patrons. Also we wanted to throw a party. Because we love fun.
